1. What is your role inside the MyCreed Network?
I am one of the authors of the MyCreed Global Facebook page. I provide content for this page and makes sure it keeps running. That means I keep contact between the people who like and comment on the page and the owners of the page. And here and there I will help with my artistic and graphic designing skills.
2. When was your first contact with the franchise?
A friend once gave me Assassin’s Creed II for the PC as a present, I believe I already kinda knew the franchise but I never thought of playing it because I was not a gamer back then (in 2014). So I played it and it was all I was looking for in a game. A good story, good graphics, a vast world where I could go anywhere by using parkour and a historical setting.
3. Who is your favorite assassin or templar? And why?
Ezio is my favorite assassin just because I grew with him in the franchise. I played all the games involving his story (Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations) in one row and I was very sad his story had ended. I never really had interest in playing Assassin's Creed III after that, both because people said it wasn’t quite like Assassin’s Creed and because I don’t like the setting. I adore Roman culture so I loved walking around in the streets of Rome. I also had kind of an obsession for Cesare Borgia because he is a handsome douchebag XD But Bayek might be a close runner up after I have played Assassin’s Creed Origins.
4. Besides being a gamer, are you a collector or an historian?
I am a collector, but not of Assassin’s Creed loot. I have not enough money to buy those amazing statues. But when I have I will certainly pick up a statue of my favorite character(s). I do own a hidden blade, but that is for cosplay purpose 😉
Beside that I have a big intrest on ancient history, mostly centered around Greek/Roman culture and Egyptian culture. What interests me the most are the clothing and armor they wore in that period and the architecture. So when playing Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed Origins I can truly appreciate the game’s art & design. And I love reliving this history.
5. What has Assassin's Creed taught you in your personal life?
I would not say that it has really taught me anything, but I do support the idea of the brotherhood. I think it’s important in life to have this one group of close friends and always come up for each other and help each other in time of need.
